This Privacy Policy explains how the Glagol mobile and web application ("Glagol", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Russian language learning service. By using Glagol, you agree to the practices described below.

3. Third-Party Services

Firebase (Google LLC)

Glagol uses Firebase Authentication and Firebase Firestore to handle sign-in and store your learning progress. Firebase is operated by Google and is bound by Google's privacy policies. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Google Cloud Text-to-Speech

Russian audio in Glagol is pre-rendered offline using Google Cloud Text-to-Speech and shipped with the app as static MP3 files. Audio playback in the app does not send your voice or any input to Google.

Cloudflare

Our domain DNS and email forwarding are provided by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP address, request timestamp) when you access glagol.app. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

Account data is stored in Firebase Firestore servers (typically located in the European Union or United States, as managed by Google). Data is transmitted over HTTPS and encrypted at rest by Firebase.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Reset all data) or by contacting us.

6. Children's Privacy

Glagol is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Glagol after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
